Stoney's Web Design specializes in creating beautiful website designs for the horse industry. Our personal involvement in the reining and reined cow horse business gives us an intimate knowledge of the equine industry, uncommon among web designers.

We offer two types of websites:

$1,200 Full Custom Website

up to 6 pages ($75 per page after 6). Includes set-up, content development, SEO. On-line control panel available for self-maintenance, or maintained by us.

$1,800 Mini Shopping Cart

up to 6 pages and 30 products, additional products at a flat rate each. Includes set-up, content development, SEO on static pages. On-line control panel available for self-maintenance, or maintained by us.

For larger projects, or ones that don't fit in the above categories, please contact us.

What we will need from you

Basic Custom Website (not an online store)

Website contract on file with and deposit paid to Stoney’s Web Design
Contact info as it will appear on your website
Bullet outline of all pages and sub-pages (what will appear as menu items)
Written content for each page (word.doc, PDF or email format)
Word.doc versions of any contracts you will be including on your site
High quality photos for design use (size should be at least 1MB)
Content photos for use on pages (can be lesser quality, but should not be smaller than 500KB)
Copies of registration papers, other relevant documents and video links for sale horses, broodmares, or stallions standing at stud, as needed

Mini-Shopping Cart Online Store (selling items and collecting funds through your website)

All the above that apply to your business needs
Payment vendor (vendor through which your customer payments are collected and processed)
Product photo(s)
Product names and descriptions
Product video, if applicable
Available options per product (size, color, etc)
Shipping and tax information
Terms of Sale and Return Policy (if different from standard)
Customer Service contact info

HOW LONG TIL MY WEBSITE IS LIVE?

It usually takes 4 to 6 weeks from when we get your website request form until your website is live and available to users.

The most common caused for delay are:

Not getting content or feedback from you
Waiting on photos or other records or information
Not have your domain name in your control

HOW DOES IT WORK?

TEMPLATE
This is how your site looks (colors, style, functionality, etc) If you have a logo, we need it. If you have a vision share it. This is where it all begins.

PAGES

While we are building the template, we will also create an outline of your web pages. Pages can be named anything, but titles should be short as possible, and relate to what users may want to learn about you and your business.

DRAFT

This will be the first few pages of your future website for your review. Its something of a test run. You will get to see the website in a private address, unavailable to the public. Important note! This is the time to make any changes to your TEMPLATE. It is much more involved to change the template once content is added to the pages.

APPROVAL

Once we make adjustments to your template and page list, and get things exactly how you want them, we add content. This mean populating text, adding images and embedded video, linking social media, etc. This is the part that takes the longest, and requires the most input from you.

05

PUBLISHING

This is when we connect your domain name to your website hosting and your site becomes available to the world. After your site is published, you have 30 days included (free) to make any final tweaks or adjustments to your site. After 30 days, maintenance charges apply, or you may begin maintaining your site yourself.
